SalesForce Asana Integration

Overview

The Salesforce–Asana Integration is designed to create a more connected and efficient workflow between the Rewards team and the broader Creative team. By routing creative requests through the Salesforce/Asana plug-in, stakeholders can submit requests, manage tasks, collaborate through comments, and track project progress in one centralized process. Supporting resources—including Frontify, Slack, SOP document, video demonstrations, and an issue tracker—help teams adopt the new workflow with minimal disruption. The Asana set up includes a Portfolio for leadership visibility, an intake, and a project template with automated field syncs that pulls information directly from SalesForce to Asana for reporting needs.

Goal

The goal of Phase 1 is to bridge the gap between the Rewards and Creative teams while keeping the request and project-management process familiar and easy to use. The integration will improve the consistency of creative intake, distribute work more efficiently, and surface process challenges through ongoing issue tracking. These insights will inform enhancements and help shape a more streamlined Phase 2 solution.
